My Changes Are Not Showing Up
Sometimes when you make changes on
your web page, you do not see those changes
because of your temporary Internet cache settings. Basically, when you go
to a website, images and files are cached locally to help speed up the loading
of that page. Even sometimes a refresh might not show your changes.
Clear Your Temporary Internet Cache
You can clear your
temporary Internet cache by going to Tools - Internet Options on Microsoft
Internet Explorer. In the General tab, you should see Browsing history.
Choose the Delete Files button. This will bring up another dialog box.
Under the Temporary Internet Files, choose the Delete Files button to clear your
temporary Internet cache. Make sure you are on on your website when you do
this. Now choose Close and hit OK.
Another way to do this is while you are on your web page is choose CNTL-F5 to do
a "hard refresh" of the page.
